The 2019 United Kingdom general election was held on Thursday 12th December 2019 with 47,567,752 registered voters entitled to vote.

Conservative Victory

The Conservatives have done best in areas in Wales and northern England that voted Leave in the 2016 referendum.

Conservative Majority

The 2019 General Election resulted in a Conservative victory. The party won 365 seats, 48 more than in 2017, and 43.6% of the vote, up from 42.3% in 2017.
