Born Nicole Françoise Florence Dreyfus in Paris on April 27, 1932, Aimée made her film debut in 1947. Over the next seven decades, she starred in over 74 films and television series, earning numerous accolades, including a BAFTA Award, a Golden Globe Award, and an Honorary César Award.
International Recognition
Aimée's breakout role came in Claude Lelouch's 1966 masterpiece "Un Homme et une Femme." Her portrayal of Anne Gauthier, a young widow who finds love again, made her an international sex symbol and cemented her status as a legend of French cinema.
